Most Woodmoor kids are at St. B’s. If your child is not there, you will feel left out a lot of the neighborhood feel.

I live in Woodmoor and I disagree. A large number of kids go to the public schools - enough that there are two separate busses from the neighborhood (one for one side of the neighborhood and one for the other side) taking them to Montgomery Knolls.
Hello fellow Woodmoron! I agree - there are plenty of public school kids in the ‘hood. I have one at Eastern and one at Blair and all of their friends are in the neighborhood. I think the St. B’s thing was true years ago, but not as much now.

Anonymous wrote:Can someone tell me about the Montgomery Knolls - Pine Crest - Eastern Middle - Blair school cluster? One of the areas in Silver Spring we are targeting is Woodmoor in Silver Spring. We like the neighborhood feel of it and it is close to our jobs and families. I am not familiar with Montgomery Knolls, Pine Crest or Eastern middle. Do most folks in the neighborhood send their kids to the local schools? Are most folks happy at these schools? Are there lottery programs to apply for at the elementary school level?
