I’m taking a break from Dazzle dry… been using for a while and my nails became very dry and brittle. I’m only going to use it once in a while. After a four month break from any polish, my nails are much improved 🤷🏻‍♀️

As an aside, you should not have polish on your toes in winter. I used to do that and then my toe nails started to thicken and yellow. It wasn't really bad but enough for me to wonder what was going on.

My podiatrist said it's really bad to always have your nails polished so I now only polish them in summer and it comes off as soon as sandal weather is over.

Thank you, PP who posted about keratin granulation. I looked that up and learned more. I think it would be nice if the salons told you that the Dazzle Dry company recommends pedi breaks with oil treatments.

This just happened to me!!

First time using Dazzle Dry & got a pedicure. Took the polish off last week and there were white spots underneath and a little bit orange. Was completely freaked out that I had toe nail fungus, but googled it, and apparently it's called Keratin Granulation and it's caused by nail polish basically suffocating your nails.

I've been getting pedicures for 30 years, and this was the first time I have ever used Dazzle Dry, so I attribute it to that. Apparently you need to let you nails breathe with no polish for a few weeks and it will resolve itself. Mine already look much better than when I first removed the polish.

Never using Dazzle Dry again!

Most nail polish has some level of toxicity, and any product that lasts longer on nails is a red flag for that type of issues. When it's too good to be true, it's not good for your health...

The salon I go to offers Dazzle Dry, which is super fast-drying, long-lasting nail polish. I've used it for my past four pedicures. At the last pedi, I noticed my toenails looked white under the polish, but just moved along. Now, my toenail has cracked in two! I removed polish and saw that my nails were extremely dry and brittle. I looked it up and found that Dazzle Dry recommends that you take a break from its nail polish, let your nails "breathe," and apply oil to the nails between pedis. Not knowing that, I went months with my toenails continuously covered by this polish, and now I have a cracked nail that I'm dealing with at the beginning of sandal season.

It still think the product is really great - pedicure lasts twice as long without chipping -- but wish I'd known not to use it repeatedly without a break.
