Our entire family, including DH, me and two teen DD’s uses these razors purchased in bulk at Sam’s or Costco.
The girls and I use dove bar soap and my husband used shave gel on his face.
Start out as you intend to carry on.

This. The expensive five blade ones. My kids have never cut themselves shaving. I just use water with these.

Given how ridiculously expensive razors have recently become, we buy:
- Target or Kirkland (costco) razors
They are the exact same as name brand; made in the same factory.

I can’t remember the brand…maybe Venus also..they do like shaving cream. Both my daughters take shaving very seriously and have developed their own systems. I stay out of it.

I posted a few weeks ago about shaving my 9yo under her arms. I bought a Venus disposable and some shaving cream. I did it for her the first time then left it in her bathroom. She hadn’t needed to do it again yet.

DD, who is 11, wants to start shaving. I am fine with it. Should I buy her a good razor and cream and show her how? Or is there some new system that kids are doing?
