If you get a suburban or Escalade XL and one adult sits in the front and you fold down half of the 3rd row (the skinny half) it’ll work, but that’s assuming you get one w/ the 3 seater 2nd row and not captains seats. We usually order one xl and then if it’s not a huge one we order a 2nd Uber and stick 2 people and some bags in it. This works bc we live in the city so there are lots of Ubers around. I wouldn’t chance it further out
Exactly. I've been shocked at the some of the cars that qualify for Uber XL. There have definitely been times where even the 4 of us would not have fit if my youngest was not 11 and could not squish into the narrow seat of the 3rd row (other half folded for luggage.)
In my opinion, the Uber XL should be able to fit the luggage without folding the seat or it shouldn't qualify. I wish we could just say "send us a minivan" but it won't let you.
+1
OP here. When I look at Uber XL online, it describes it as seating 6 people. But in the app, it says 5. Which is it, Uber? They really need a van service.

OP here. You are so right. We don't travel in such a large group often, so I didn't even think of that. Do you have a service you'd recommend?
