No, I have never had an issue with transmission until last night.

I am pretty sure it's not the alternator. I am 99% sure it's transmission related based on oil leaks and how car acted yesterday. What I don't know if whether this means (most likely) transmission is completely gone or not. Any signficant changes, I'll probably donate the car. Don't want to spend thousands fixing or replacing it. Thanks for the guess though.

This morning I noticed a pool of transmission oil on my driveway. I am guessing it was leaking and I drove arond until it died. Will i need a new transmission? or can I still salvage my transmission? Your guess?
Did the engine sieze or the car just wasn’t changing gears? What make/model? Age?
When I left home yesterday, I felt slight slip in gear but I thought I ran over something and didn't think much about it. When I noticed the car was really slow picking up speed from stop lights. then when I got on I-95, it was getting bad real fast and eventually in about 20 miles, it wouldn't go. RMP was going ups-and-downs then I had to pull over. Pathfinder 2005) w/ 105k.
