Subject: LCPS TJ admissions process
LCPS admits to Academies of Loudoun were sent an e-mail that if they accepted TJ, they would be automatically unenrolled from LCPS.
My question is what happens with the TJ waitlist. Students have to accept or decline the waitlist.
If a students accepts the waitlist, and then is later accepted by TJ, is the student automatically unenrolled from LCPS, or can they decline TJ at that point and go to Academies of Loudoun?
Separate question- how automatic is this automatic unenrollment?
A student who was on the waitlist for AOS was given acceptance on Friday, the same day the TJ offers were announced.
I think it is just a coincidence that these happened on the same day.
