I thought this was a soccer forum, not a blog. In the other poster's defense, maybe they the md stands for "mad" and not Maryland, or maybe they haven't looked up at your entire message history, and therefore, based on your handle, thought it ironic and funny that someone from San Diego was in a forum about DMV-area soccer inquiring about a very specific match.

I was there at another game but caught bits and pieces of it. It seemed like SYC was ahead by at least a goal or two, then later I looked back and it seemed like the game went into overtime. That's the last thing I saw, but the SYC parents were going crazy most of the game as far as I could tell
