It depends on the how oily/sweaty your skin gets, and whether the moisturizer is water or oil/silicone based. Oil and water don’t mix, so oily skin + water-based tinted moisturizer will cause patchiness. And in reverse for oil-based. I find that I need to use blotting papers to thoroughly mattify my skin before I try to reapply, and even then it’s dicey. If you have well-behaved skin, you may fare better!

I really like the Juice Beauty C C cream.

There’s this great Hourglass touch up product that is concealer-esque, but you can put it over makeup, even powder. It somehow just melts into skin and blends into the makeup you already applied. I use that for spot touch-ups.

There’s a lighter version of Estée Lauder Double-Wear that has SPF and is more of a tinted moisturizer, but it might be too foundation-y for your taste.

Not PP, but they “reformulated” at least some of the colors in the last few years.

You need a setting spray on top when it's warm outside.

I use EltaMD for regular sunscreen but the tinted only comes in one shade that doesn't work for my skin tone.

I love the Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator, it lasts a long time and costs $5. Also cruelty free if that is important to you.

You can always try it and see what you think. I use LM tinted moisturizer and I feel like if I put it on too long after I wash my face and apply my “real” moisturizer, it doesn’t look as good.

I would just spot cover with a concealer

I'm trying to switch from a full-coverage, long-lasting foundation to a lighter coverage tinted moisturizer. I'm trying a Laura Mercier option and I like it so far, but it doesn't last all day. Can I reapply it after a few hours to refresh the coverage? Like just put another layer on without washing my face or anything first? Is this a terrible idea?
