+1. There is always space for the right person. OP, is your kid going into HS? Some (most?) of the moco highschools will offer some sort of summer basketball workouts.

I 2nd checking out the force 1 results for teams. It can be hard to find contact information for some of these teams. Start following local bball twitter accounts.

One note - if you reach out to coaches, many will let your kid do a workout to see if they might be a fit. That’s how my kid found the AAU team that worked out best for him.

I would look at the force one league results to get the names of some teams. Then you can check out their social media.

One thing that makes this hard - teams make crazy, unsubstantiated claims about their elite status. I was just looking at a local team that claimed to be a UAA (Adidas sponsored) on their web site when in fact they are not. So buyer beware.
