Pandemic may be over, but COVID-related disruptions are still such a nightmare.
In DC:
SHORTER ISOLATION PERIODS1
o Individuals age 2 and older may now return
to care on day 6 if they receive a negative test
result on day 5. The individual must wear a
well-fitting mask through day 10.
SHORTER QUARANTINE PERIODS2
o Individuals age 2 and older may now return
to care on day 6 if they receive a negative test
result on day 5. The individual should wear a
well-fitting mask through day 10.
Notice that this is only for children age 2 and older who can consisitently wear a mask correctly. Isolation refers to those who tested positive and quarantine refers to those who are close contacts.
