17 year old had a cough and was tired for a few days, 15 year old had no symptoms at all. I also got it and felt like i had bad allergies for a few days and was more tired than usual. All three of us vaxxed and boosted.

Kid 1 in DS's 1st grade class who was positive: Had symptoms (101 fever, a bit logey) for four hours. Was fine otherwise.

Kid 2 in DS's same class who was also positive, 2 weeks later: mild cough for two days. Full of energy and normal self otherwise.

DS, 14, had bad cold symptoms for two days, then sat around for the rest of the quarantine period playing video games and being bored.

Complained that things "smelled weird" for a couple of days thereafter, but he's fine now (two weeks out).

You need help given we are in a surge and you are still a Covid denier.

DP, whose son just had COVID - you really do have problems, PP. The data OVERWHELMINGLY show that COVID is mild for the vast majority of children. In kids who are vaccinated, even more so. You can find the random clickbait headlines all you want, but over two years in, we know this much is true.

OP, my son was nauseated for a few hours, and then with some gatorade and crackers, he was fine. Bounced off the walls for his entire isolation period. He's 8 and fully vaccinated.

Age of kids will matter - my ES kids had no symptoms but our teen sitter had a “terrible cold” for a week.

All my kids had either a sore throat, congestion and/or cough.

The stomach flu was much worse on them (and me).

My young teen was sick like a pretty regular virus. Fever for several days, headache, stuffy nose and (not the worst he's ever had) cough.

Probably would have stayed home 3 days in "the before times." Continuing to test positive though, so home for the week.
