I would just ask the waiter if it’s something the kitchen will do. I don’t see why not.

Any of the Great Restaurant chains toast their buns. I always ask them to butter mine to seal the bun. So good.

Can think of one specifically, but you can just ask for this at any restaurant (not fast casual)
