Whoops! Typo! Fried, not friend steak.

Now I feel like a carnivorous monster.

Ha! My 2yo DD is on a quest to get me to eat way less meat too! She likes shrimp, though, so we sometimes compromise on dim sum.

Over 30 years. If I was going to give it up it would be for bacon. I used to pcr bacon. But now I know what it actually is, and where it comes from, I don’t eat it..

20 years and I have no desire to eat meat. There are veg versions of everything from French dip roast beef sandwiches to shrimp to cheesesteaks.

I wish I could be vegetarian, but my stomach gets sick if I eat too many carbs, fiber, or beans.

I wouldn't eat any meat again, ever. Zero interest in it or the fake meat substitutes.

I started as a teen so also 30 years.

About 12 years. Meat is not palatable to me at all, including food that looks like meat.

25 years. If I ate meat again, maybe a burger? But the problem is any time I eat a tiny bit of meat, it tastes terrible and makes my mouth feel gross.

Not sure where you can get vegi-Bratwurst, but I had some surprisingly good vegi-pepperoni, which is one of the few meat items I missed eating.

At the moment I cannot think of the name of the veg-pepperoni product.

30 years, since I was 14. I will never go back to eating meat.

Since the day I was born, so 50 years.
I’d eat bacon if I was going to switch.

How long have you been veg?
If you were going to give up being veg, what would your first meal be?
