A woman decided to answer a FACETIME in the (small, crowded) waiting area of our kids' martial arts class last week. Very rude.

I really don't understand the mani/pedi people who completely ignore the signs that say right in front of them to not use their phones.

Yes I was getting a mani the other day and this woman was just talking and talking on her phone when the “please refrain from using your phone” sign was clearly right in front of her!! So annoying.

Yes. Many places post no cell phone use in waiting rooms or cafes.

We used to have phones attached to the wall. Back then it was normal. Now we have a choice. I prefer privacy when on the phone, and not overheard conversation when not.

Yeah, if it interrupts the activity they're participating in. The exception would be if there's no other place to take the call.
