We have a lot from Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn. After so many years, only RH has held its appeal. So for us it has been well worth the extra price.

Room and board is the best quality.

I like west Elm for non heirloom furniture.

We've had fantastic experiences with Macy's Furniture. Great prices, terrific selection, and very good quality.

^^ all of those recommendations are mid-range prices and awful quality.
USA-made brands like Best or Flexsteel. You can order custom for same price as PB and get exactly what you want.

Room and Board is consistently nice. If you're not in a rush, you can just keep an eye out and look for used furniture from good brands; they hold up well.

We have Room & Board, RH and Mitchell Gold, good quality. But their prices are the same as Jonathan Adler.

We are looking for sth mid-range. Not wayfair, ashley or bobs but also not jonathan adler or versace.

Any advice? Thanks
