I am 65. I can't help wonder what your issue is. You don't like her hair style? Ask her if she likes it. If not, both if you can go for a refresh. If she likes it, there's a reason, so you will find that out when your kid has an opinion about your personal style in 20 years. Her eyes look strained. What? You've already implied that she's on screens. News Flash-EVERYONE IS- for work, socializing, entertainment, news, everything. What is she doing that no one else is? Her eyes don't look great because at 65 they wrinkle and droop unless we opt for surgery. Look at all the makeup videos on TikTok about how to apply makeup for mature faces...she's probably doing that, dear.

My mother tells me that she will always see me as a small child and that she regrets she raised me not to be completely obedient to her and do everything she says. I’m a married mom of two in my 40s.

Lots of 65 year old women are losing their hair. Hairstyle may not really be her choice. She may have concerns re: eye health. Make-up vs eye/vision health. She might. How about you learn more about her/what her life is like presently.

I'd make that she is tired and is prioritizing being comfortable rather than being stylish. But do take her to the eye doctor.

Sign her up for some exercise classes at the YMCA or Jewish Center.
