Subject: Re:We Own This City - new David Simon miniseries
I watched the first episode and loved that one of the main characters is a smart, strong Black woman. I actually liked it better than The Wire -- it's more subtle. Also, very accurate, per a family member who worked in Baltimore public defender's office.
