The only one with head in the sand is OP. Virtual is disastrous. No school should EVER go virtual again.

Because they care about public health and understand that more cases means more chances for this virus to mutate and continue to disrupt our lives.
I agree that I don’t think any schools actually care that much anymore. But it doesn’t take much effort to bring back some social distancing, masking, or moving classes outdoors. Better than zoom school.
But the point is that the virus is no longer disrupting our lives any more than other viruses.

I agree that I don’t think any schools actually care that much anymore. But it doesn’t take much effort to bring back some social distancing, masking, or moving classes outdoors. Better than zoom school.
A few private schools in the DMV going virtual is not going stop mutations.

If our private goes virtual there will be mutiny... and I'll be the one leading the charge. No way.
Same with bringing back required masks.
They still test weekly and there have been few to no cases at all this year save January when pretty much everyone (including my kid) got it.

It is everywhere right now. Lots of asymptomatic positives. Home tests not included in most counts so cases underreported.
