The notion that synthroid or levoxyl are not "natural" is highly suspect. Your body is telling you that it can't "naturally" produce sufficient thyroid hormone. Don't deny yourself medically approved therapies out of a misplaced prejudice against prescription drugs. This would be akin to looking for a "natural" way to change your eyesight or manufacture missing insulin for a diabetic.

This.
You really don’t want to mess with this, as TSH can increase very quickly in early pregnancy. As in, before you are even aware you are pregnant. I have Hashimotos, and my TSH is around 1-1.5 with levoxyl. My endocrinologist wanted me to notify him as soon as I received a positive pregnancy test. Before I was even 5w, my TSH had already shot up to over 3.

good to know! last month it was 1.75 so it shot up significantly and unclear why. AF just came so not pregnant. Sounds like I'll need to follow up with dr. Thank you!

I’d supplement with synthroid while TTCing.

You could supplement with selenium. A selenium deficiency can contribute to thyroid issues. Generally speaking though, if you’re ttc, I’d consider starting a low dose of thyroid hormone and target your tsh to 1.0.

TSH is 2.59. Wondering what natural methods that have worked to lower your TSH. Thanks!
