Yes, we are here as well. She has two options we think are great. However, she is still hung up on two other schools that we ruled out because she didn’t get any merit. I think she will come around soon.

They do. Places start opening up the waitlist before May 1 and start churning through.

Haha, I'm the Northwestern/Brown theatre/music poster, and she's still undecided too! NU has the great theatre but limited music access, and Brown has the open curriculum and is currently 6k/year cheaper (might be more after final FA review). Decisions, decisions. I wish there was some lightening bolt for her.

For mine:

School A: low acceptance rate, party vibe/greek life
Schools B: very low acceptance rate, higher ranked, no greek life, but kid not sure about fit

Tough call, not sure what the decision will be. Family rule: must decide by Friday. Not taking any chance on weekend internet issues.

School A: low acceptance rate, very urban, so no real campus. Accepted for spring admit.
School B: her safety school, got lots of merit aid and into their premier program but she is not impressed by the caliber of kids who go there or it’s party school rep.

Deadlines are deadlines. I would not risk it.

Too add if they waited to the last minute and you lose internet than tough $hit, they'll learn a valuable life lesson.

If they can't decide than so be it, they applied to each school obviously for a reason and if not able to make a decision based on their list you'll save some money for another year.

Mine too. We will ask her to decide by Friday so we're not in a last minute panic and knowing us, we'll loose internet on May 1/2 or some other disaster will strike.

I can't get my son to finalize his decision.

He landed on a school, seemed excited, started wearing the tee shirt and all of that. But he said he wasn't ready to commit yet. Then, over the last week, he's started talking about another school. I'm wondering if this is all normal or if he's genuinely wavering. He only has a couple of days left and will have to make a decision!
