Once a week, when it was happening.

Yea but you haven’t hooked him into marriage yet. Do you even live together yet?

If you can’t say it how do you do it?

OP here. I would have typed it out but board says non explicit and I didn't want to risk it being taken down. A month back there was a brief discussion here about vibrators and it got taken down really quickly.

They have to keep it unblocked…how else would we talk about the sex/gender of babies on the expecting moms board

I'd bet your age is less of a determinative factor than the age of your kids and how self-sufficient they are.

We are both 40 with a 3 and 5 year old and we maybe have sex once every other week. We're both tired from the kids.
Maybe there's more to it and there's deeper relationship problems, not sure, things seem ok otherwise.

40sF and early 50s DH, long term marriage. How often do you have s** in a typical week?

3 times a week would ideal for me but 2 times is more typical. I'm nearly always the one asking. I get the usual reasons like he's tired, long day, needs to freshen up but won't. When he says he's tired, he'll then stay up very late watching TV etc. If he came to bed within an hour of me going to bed I'd definitely wake up and be available. But 2 hours later, I'm fast asleep. I've suggested different times, before dinner, early morning etc. That helps a little. But he thinks I'm too demanding. I am reciprocal and our sessions don't go beyond a half hour. So it's not like I'm taking up hours of his time. On the week of my time of month he is almost relieved BC he gets a break.

Do you think this is reasonable?
