Well if the home tests aren’t accurate why test at all?

They generally are if you are symptomatic. Not so much if asymptomatic.

Pretty much all of my MS kid’s friends had Omicron in Dec and Jan. And we know that natural immunity is good.

They can still get new variants.

Possibly, but doctors aren’t seeing that.

These were all true after Christmas break too. Relatively speaking, the numbers are still a lot lower.

Yes because Christmas break was during a major spike. Now we are in a lull. This should not be any kind of surprise. We also know the numbers are rising right now.

We will never know. But that's a very low number compared to the scenario after winter break. I think we are good to keep the masks off!

Did Houston give the go ahead? They confirmed that the stars didn’t align? Roger that.

"And on Wednesday, Sean O’Donnell of the county’s Department of Health and Human Services reported that the latest results — which he said could include students and staff who tested at other locations — showed a total of 631 COVID-19 cases.

At the end of winter break, he said, more than 6,000 cases were identified — “so this is certainly a very different place that they’re in,” he said.

There are 166,000 students in the county’s public schools."

Time to move on people. Let's focus on learning loss and mental health problems that came out of this pandemic and stop talking about testing and masks.
