My 8th grade TPMS magnet student (taking geometry now) said the teacher warned them that the last month or so of school will be just constant testing, with maybe one week of a break in tests. DC is pissed and really prefers actual learning, especially to prepare for their being the the Blair STEM magnet next year.

In the fall it was not included in the state provided Geometry instructions. Perhaps they have fixed it.

Yes, the test was waived entirely for kids who took Algebra I in 2019-2020.

For this year? For last school year, over 95% of MD students failed the exam. The determination was if you passed the class and took the test (regardless of whether or not reached meeting expectations on the MCAP), you met the graduation requirement

Do they retake the class in summer or the next school year? Do they then have to pass the new test or are they good to move on?
