My daughter likes to drive west toward the mountains and eat lunch somewhere and drive back a different way. If I leave it up to her, she always chooses that, and we have the best time.

Are you in DC? So much good stuff to do here. A museum and/or stroll around the Mall is always a nice way to spend a Saturday morning. Add in a stop for lunch or something like that too.

Maybe find good Farmer's markets and hit those nice and early?

Teach her to make a good omelette or crepes if she doesn’t know
Watch a makeup tutorial for a specific look and then both do it. I’ve done this even though I’m not a makeup person w hilarious (to my daughter especially) results

Birding outing at patuxent or other nature centers or US botanic gardens

Beachcombing at the bayside beaches

Library / book shop then coffee spot to read and chat together
