"During the course of our recruiting efforts, we have come across many highly qualified candidates, such as you. Throughout this process we carefully evaluate each candidate’s background and interests against our projected workloads and general staffing needs. We are impressed with your background and qualifications, however after careful consideration, the hiring team has decided to not move forward with you for this role.
We will be placing your resume back into the database for all of our recruiters and hiring managers to review and consider for other roles within Amazon.
It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you again for taking the time to speak with us. We hope that you will continue to be interested in future opportunities at Amazon. We wish you well in your pursuit of a new position, and thank you for your continued interest.
I am not able to share any type of interview feedback, but if you do have any other questions, please feel free to reach out"
I failed the Amazon interview twice for a SWE position and now work for a different FAANG company with 2 promos under my belt. I wouldn't sweat it. Pretty sure it was the leadership principles that I screwed up on since their coding problems weren't very difficult.
