I make something like this pizza casserole with more veggies—usually red bell peppers, mushrooms and artichoke hearts, and I use 1.5 jars of pizza sauce (check labels for added sugar) and cook in a 9x13 dish. We like spicy Italian sausage—there’s a brand out of Denver that I buy in bulk at Sams. It’s a pretty forgiving recipe—I once used a giant zucchini out of my neighbors’ garden instead of the spaghetti squash.
