Well, I am going to give it a try and see what happens. I have a DIY bucket system set up and just got 2 pounds of bokashi bran so... I guess I'll see!

If nothing else, it will be a mini science experiment for my kids.

I’m really interested in using the bokashi method for handling kitchen waste and paper like napkins and paper towels.

Traditional backyard composting hasn’t worked for me and I believe I’ll be more successful with the fermenting method.

Has anyone tried it? Do you recommend it?

Will the result (after I bury it for a few weeks) actually result in nutrient dense compost?
