I taught my kids French cursive at home, since we're from that country. There are several workbooks according to age group and they can be found here:

I confess the Handwriting Without Tears is incredibly ugly. It doesn't look like normal cursive at all, American, French or any other.

I just got the handwriting without tears workbook and had DS do a couple pages while he was listening to an audiobook. I just skipped the sections that required the teacher to do anything (and there aren’t a lot).

Now the trick is getting him to practice without the workbook because without it DS is still pretty slow.

My daughters go to APS and I would love to supplement with more handwriting practice. I’ve heard about handwriting without tears but the program seems more geared towards classroom use so I’m confused over what to get from them. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you
