Jones Bridge was a totally brand new house and the Stewart one is not.

Ok, was it a big renew? I thought they were selling it for 2.25X what it went for less than a year ago. Was pretty sure there was a big change.

Dunno why would love to see the new house.

BUT, I know in some jurisdictions (i.e. DC) there are tax reasons for a developer to hold a property for a while before selling. It looks like this might also have been at risk of paying short-term federal capital gains taxes.

Shorter: sometimes things are about issues with the seller, not issues with the house.

We saw this house (renovated, not new construction but looked like a new construction). It wasn't for us, but looked really nice. Good yard, decent space, nice finishes. I thought it was a bit over priced, but I also thought for sure it would sell quickly in this hot market. Does anyone who saw it have thoughts on why it didn't move quickly? Was it the location? Trying to understand why most houses seem insanely overvalued by this market, and others seem not to be?
