My initial.thojfbt was heck no until I realized out government provided housing overseas is basically at a T intersection within a gated neighborhood. Its not been as bad as I thought, but traffic can be loud, and it's not a great set up for little kids who maybe want to ride their bike or whatever.

Total dealbreaker

I think it is only nad feng shui if your house is at the exact T junction. Beside that one (like the OP said, the one you will see car lights directly through your window), others are fine.

I do. It's perfectly fine. In fact I kind of like it because I am nosy and our neighborhood is pretty green and landscaped so it's arguably prettier than looking right at another house. Both streets are pretty quiet even by suburban standards though, so YMMV.

Dealbreaker. Hearing constant revving up and revving down of engines all day would drive me nuts.

I grew up at a T intersection house but it was in the suburbs of a mid size town in the south. Lights and traffic were not an issue but we did often have to replace our mailbox.

I do live at a T intersection. My house faces along the vertical part of the T and I am in the left-hand corner of the top of the T.

Our family room is on the back of the house and we used to have trouble with headlights shining into our family room from cars traveling along the top of the T. But we put in some evergreen trees along the back corner of our lot and these now block the headlights when we are watching TV.

The bigger problem is that both streets are semi-busy (busy for suburbia, but not busy for inner suburbs). We have plenty of people who drive more than 25 and head around the corners with rolling stops. It was a concern when our kids were young. We ended up putting in a picket fence to keep the kids and toys in our back yard as we were afraid that the kids would throw a ball and chase it into the street or something.

But other than minor issues and making adjustments like the fence and trees, it has not been a problem. We have lived here 16 years and love the house. Alternatively, one of the bonuses is that we have a larger lot than all of our neighbors with interior lots. We have about 20% more property than the interior lots have because of being on the corner. And it's great having the bigger yard when the kids (now tweens) want to play out in the yard with their friends.

Depends on whether you get tree cover, or a fence. Also, if cars go fast there, there's always the risk they can crash in your house. The house needs to be set far back with a fence, trees/bushes, or nice big stones.

I live at a Y intersection but we have a big corner front yard with trees so it isn't a problem.

I'd have to go to the house and visit. It would depend on how busy the intersection is.

Really like a house from the pictures but it seems it is a T intersection so all the headlights at night will be shining through our window. Dealbreaker or no?
