There's a bunch of types of roaches. Most of them have no interest in living in your house. It's pretty common to see wood roaches outside. If you have an infestation in your home then you need to get that taken care of.

Where have you seen them? Yes they are outside and big flying ones. None inside.

They rarely come inside but the house is old and I wonder if something is rotting that attracts them. I noticed when we cut down the trees and bushes near our house I no longer saw the two inch or bigger palmettos flying or crawling about. Did your neighbors have this issue as well or is it specific to one home?

More detail needed. We had these in Florida but they rarely came inside the house and I only ever saw one at a time. How bad is the infestation.

Would these devalue a home? These are water roaches that fly outside. They only appear in the spring/summer it seems.
