We averaged 400 trips on Uber per year before the pandemic. Never had any problem.

Never had a bad experience. I mostly use Uber.

I've taken them in the city, the suburbs, other cities, late at night, super early morning (scheduled it) and never had any issues.

I will always pick an Uber over a taxi unless I'm in NYC. Ubers in NYC are very difficult because drivers only want to do longer trips for higher $$. Taxis are still my favorite for short trips in NYC.

I read this post in one of my normal Ubers to work. I haven't driven in several years. I have no desire yo drive. Or very little. I have had a couple of bad experiences over the years, but not nearly enough to make me stop. I routinely Uber 10 to 30 times a month.

OP, you'd be stunned by how normal the experience is. You just get in the car and take you where you want to go, and then you get out and the transaction is over.

More context? I’ve been in several Ubers and Lyfts with zero issues. Some drivers are chatty but that’s about it.

I've never been in one but after all the stories I've seen online, I don't think I'll be getting in one alone anytime soon! What in the world is going on with people?
