Well I won’t disregard other’s reviews of her, and I wasn’t very happy with her response rates either. But here are some factual observations I had during my DC’s 1.5 years there. There was no change in directors the entire time we were there (possibly during the beginning of COVID but I have no idea, there was turnover everywhere at that time). Only heard about the one that left very recently from current parents, and IMO she had major attitude problems. I highly doubt the owner is racist since the other director still there is of the same race as the one who just left, and the one still there is awesome and loved by everyone. Also, the owner was always on-site and works til late. When we toured the school on a weekend or holiday, I can’t remember anymore but the school was closed, the owner was the one that gave us the tour so apparently she regularly works weekends or holidays.
More importantly, and back to the point of the thread, yeah responsiveness is something the school can work on. But once there, DC was happy and learned a lot.

Anonymous wrote:I am the 3rd poster above whose DC used to go there. The owner definitely did not go on vacation all the time, she actually works an insane amount and at the craziest hours as you’ll see updates from her on the school’s parent app during the evenings pretty regularly. There was a front office staff who I heard from parent friends whose children are still there, who just left. Was not a fan of her. But to be fair, I think the non-responsiveness equally applies to everyone at the front office including the owner. I just don’t think the owner was lazy or always on vacation, quite the opposite.

She is onsite almost everyday.
