I've tried several and Factor75 has been the favorite.

Look into Schwan’s. I think they may have good choices. Agree with pp about Freshly. We tried them as a family when I was going through cancer treatment, funnily enough. They weren’t great. My 12 yo really disliked them.

Thank you PPs for the suggestions.

I tried Freshly and didn't care for the food at all -- super bland, overcooked veggies, etc.

I've been sending my mom Snap Kitchen meals -- she says she likes them. She's diabetic and I can get her low-carb, veggie-forward meals.

I've been getting Factor meals and they're really good! I can either refrigerate or freeze them. Factor75.com

Local meal delivery services (e.g., Territory, Mighty Meals, etc in the DC area) are usually best because they can be fresher (refrigerated vs. frozen). There is probably at least one service like that near your relative.

Without knowing where your relative lives (general area), I can only suggest nationwide services which come frozen. Some examples are:
Freshly https://www.freshly.com/
Daily Harvest https://get.daily-harvest.com/
Mosaic https://www.mosaicfoods.com/
and Home Bistro https://homebistro.com/

To send meals to my mother, I have used Silver Cuisine https://www.silvercuisine.com/ which is marketed towards seniors but is the only way to order BistroMD food as individual meals vs. a recurring plan; the meals and portion sizes are the same for all ages. BistroMD is marketed for weight loss but isn’t really diet food. They provide detailed nutritional information for each meal and highlight some as: heart healthy, low sodium, low sugar, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, etc. Each single-serving meal is packaged separately and all you have to do is heat it.

I hope that your relative gets well soon!

A dear relative, who lives out of the DC area, is currently undergoing chemo treatments. I’m looking for a meal delivery service that requires no prep but is still healthy and tasty. Essentially looking for a way to fill her fridge or freezer so she has options when she doesn’t feel like eating.

Recommendations, please!
