My nephew is at Dalton and loves it. He started in kindergarten and is now in fourth grade. Wonderful progressive school and the kids are excited to learn.
Dalton caught a lot of crap year before last for going virtual when none of the other top private schools did. Parents are still irked by it.

My BFF went to Dalton and then Harvard. She is now a COO of an NGO. That's all I have, sorry. I think your kid is going to have a great time there.
