I'm surprised this isn't more of an issue with liberals. Just imagine how much less food we'd need to produce if Americans ate less/ate normal portions. Less greenhouse gases, less carbon, less trucking food around.

This I definitely believe. Once I leave the DMV area, I end up looking downright skinny with my 5'4" 170 lb body.

Sorry I didn't see it until today. Maybe I should go hunt for a newer one? I actually saw it on a less reliable platform and figured I'd link to the actual study. Kind of a stupid comment on your part--journal article sites aren't exactly known for ad revenue.
