My kid is struggling right now and has missed a lot of school this quarter for health reasons. Her very experienced guidance counselor told me she has never seen a college rescind admissions over grades. She has only seen problems when a kid has a serious discipline issue or doesn't graduate for some reason.

refreshing to hear form a parent of a b student, you are a rare breed -everyone around here is a 4.0 1600 kid.

Does it matter? Do I fill some of his final weeks at home with conflict over grades that, ultimately, aren't important? Anyone else having this problem?
(If you are going to post telling me a. this is my fault because I didn't parent him correctly or b. this is clearly an indication he's not ready for college and I should enroll him in a trade school instead, kindly pound sand.)
That "maintain academic standing" language has me a little worried too. Hopefully just something all parents feel. My a/a- kid is totally slacking now. Will probably round out the year with B-
Is that going to get a good offer rescinded? Or is that normal seniorities??
