I have expensive custom inset cabinets that do not go to the ceiling. The ceilings are too high and it would look weird to have a huge piece of moulding on top (I even have 48 in cabinets).


Same with ours. Plus, our oven hood is custom made and goes to the ceiling, the cabinets being lower is part of the design.

If the window frames are flush with the outside of the house, it's a cheap build and run away.

I see in this forum lots of people commenting that houses are built/renovated with builder grade material? How can you tell that from a picture? I understand that it takes an educated eye but if there are easy red flags, please tell me!
