You’re cancelling due to work but have all these things planned?

I'd let each kid pick activity to do. The rest of the time should be downtime. Kids need to learn how to not be entertained all of the time.

Day trip to Baltimore

Check if Hershey Park is open might be weekends only, They do do a Springtime in the Park event. One of the Caverns? Horseback Riding?

Smithsonian whatever one fits their interest and lunch out somewhere. Nats game if they are in town. Top golf?

Great Falls, Shenandoah, if you can take a couple of days go to Williamsburg (Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown etc). If your kids like ice skating both Skatequest and Ashburn Ice have open skate times during the day next week. There are some half day golf camps around if you don't want a full day spring break camp.

Is this covid related, cause if so I'd just want to suggest outdoors activities and not indoors to prevent spread.

Day trip out to St. Michaels -- nice lunch, walk around, maybe visit the Harriet Tubman museum?

Day trip to Richmond-- they have a great art museum and really fun neighborhoods to walk around

Hike Suagrloaf mountain with lunch in Frederick afterwards.

Are you absolutely sure no friends will be around? Over February break it seemed like everyone was going away, but I sent a note to my kids class lists and found out several kids were staying. They weren't our closest friends, but we got to do a few park meetups and the kids found they had more in common than they thought and one has become a closer friend.

My kid enjoyed Spring Break camps but we used them because we both work and didn't have time to do stuff with DS when he was home for Spring Break. It sounds like someone is home for Spring Break and can do things with the kids.

Ask them what they want to do. Leave mornings free to sleep in and just chill. Let each kid give you a list and then do one thing from each kids list so they all get to do something that they like. Do something after lunch, especially if the reason for cancelling was financial. Half day activities after lunch should reduce costs.

Camp?

Definitely a climbing gym. Pottery painting? Museums?

We are all sad about this, but I want to make the best of it. No friends will be around to hang out either.
