Burgers. You can get frozen chili lime chicken burgers and salmon burgers at Trader Joe’s and then make the same sides and condiments. I like them both on a bed of wilted spinach with a flavorful corn salsa on the side.

Do you eat shrimp?

Tacos / Taco bowls / fajitas (chicken, beef or shrimp, but we do a lot of vegetarian tacos / burritos, etc.) Fish or beef tacos.

Indian sauces or tandoori marinade for chicken / fish

Stir fry (veggies + chicken, beef, or shrimp)

General Tso’s tofu

Kabobs (veggies + chicken or shrimp or fish or beef)

Italian dressing works on both as a marinade, easy to make a sheet pan with lots of vegetables, some salmon and some chicken. I like to do that and then make orzo and stir it all together.

Tandoori-spice marinade works well on both. It's a simple marinade of yogurt, ginger garlic paste, and some spices. You could do the sheet pan version from Smitten Kitchen.

There are many meals where you can make the base and then add meat of choice. Pasta, tacos, stir fry, enchiladas.

I also make baked pocket sandwiches. I get croissant sheets (instead of the one perforated into triangles). Cut a sheet into rectangular fourths, then put grilled beef or chicken or poached fish on, some veggies that are either grilled or poached with the meat, some fresh grated parmesan, then put another quarter on, pinch the edges and bake according to the croissant roll. My family loves it and I can put different meats on for each person if they want. Also good with leftovers.

Eggplant parm, and other Italian dishes. Also, clarify with him - some men won't eat seafood but will eat fish or the other way around.

What are the two meals you currently do? Have your tried the soy based beef crumbles? I am a vegetarian bit spouse is a carnivore. These satisfy both of us. I rotate between tacos, baked ziti, shepherd pie, using them in place of beef.

souvlaki will work on chicken and fish. I think most none bbq/tomato based sauces and marinades will really work on both

Have you tried cricket protein?
