If you only speak English, you will be fine to get by in Paris, but no one is going to chat you up.

OP, One of the best things that I love about Paris is the ability to be left alone. It is my belief that God created Paris just for us introverts. Paris does not have an overbearing vibe and people leave you alone. People will only talk to you if you engage them. If you keep to yourself, then people will respect your solitude.

New Orleans is perfect for introverts. I saw plenty of people sitting in cafes and Jackson square reading and people-watching. WW2 museum, Garden district, the above ground cemeteries and beautiful parks. Great city to explore and talk to no one.

Similarly, NYC is also a great city for the curious introvert.

What are good cities for introverts to vacation? I'm not looking for hermit life but less social interaction while retaining amenities like good dining/culture. I am looking for a break from conversation and even on remote rentals I feel like I end up getting chatted up.
