This is a good idea. Think about games that don't require supplies, like "Simon says" or freeze tag just in case. I've done a bunch of park parties for one of my kids and they almost always prefer to just play on the playground equipment. I leaned the hard way after coming up with a bunch of elaborate games and crafts that never got used. Chalk is nice if you get kids that want something mellow. Hula hoops are fun because they also can be the favors.
