The thing though is that both of my kids did not know their first choice school until many months later, no matter how early we start. It is like a shaking process that must happen. And decades after graduation, I don’t even know what schools fit them best. At 17, it is a lot to ask for them to commit at early rounds.

The waiting has been brutal. Not sure I'd recommend RD in the future - ED is so much easier (when they get in)!
