Well, I don't think it's a scam at all if you have a dog prone to sickness. It's truly been a godsend for my English Bulldog. But, you should know it doesn't usually cover office visit fees and annual vaccines. It covers sickness (not preexisting) and injury; it's highly recommended you get insurance on
day one of getting your puppy. This is so you wouldn't have any pre-existing conditions that wouldn't be covered.
Also, my vet has an annual plan (for about $500 hundred) that covers office visits and annul vaccines. Again, this is worth it for my Bulldog, who has chronic allergies.
