Moonrabbit and ilili (Lebanese) are restaurants I would go over there for.

Where did you like to go "in the old days"?

Yeah I don't get why so many people drive and then try to park there. Isn't one of the best things about going out in a city that you can take Metro or Uber and not have to worry about having a designated driver?

Tried Chopsmith recently and the salad was good but did hurt the pocketbook. The black bean burger was slightly more reasonable.

Wharf restaurants have a view and popular location, they don't try too hard and the prices make you feel robbed.. which could happen on the Wharf.

The ice cream at SW Soda Pop Shop was nothing unusual, but it is tasty. Same with the new bubble tea place. I like the sandwiches at Grazie Grazie. Chopsmith is tasty but expensive. District Doughnut is good but that & coffee are pretty much your options there.

I've heard good things about Ilili but it's expensive.

You can also get carry out from the fish market and eat outside (I like a fried whiting platter!) and I've enjoyed Masala Art, which is a few blocks east (closer to the Waterfront metro).

I didn't realize you could get cooked ready to eat meals from the fish market. Good to know!

I'm looking forward to taking the kids to Boardwalk Bar & Arcade. I don't imagine the cuisine is the focus, but looks like fun.

For whole family: Hank's Oyster Bar for dinner, Praline Bakery for brunch/lunch

Any recommendations on food to try at the Wharf? I'm interested in casual with the family as well as a good place for grownups only--date night, moms night, etc.

So far I've only gotten takeout at Mi Vida, which was very tasty, though a little pricey for the whole family.
