My 5 year old doesn't want to stay at a playground if there aren't any friends or other kids his age there.

To be fair, how much fun is a playground if you don't have friends or siblings to play with.

Probably 3rd-4th grade. I have 2 boys 10 and 12 so they always had each other. They have not been interested for years.
I also have a 5yo and she loves the playground. I think she just likes the playground more than her brothers ever did.

My kid is 9 and still enjoys a playground. I was asking another mom with older kids a similar question and she said around middle school is when they stop
Wanting to just play at playgrounds.

Just your average playground (not a new huge one, no bball courts etc) and other kids around but mainly younger and no one they know there to play with?
