I met one! She’s the mom of my kid’s classmate / friend. And we’ve become friends! And her husband is genuinely nice too!

It’s sad, I’m just not used to genuinely nice people. Damn.

I would think this was awesome. I have a couple of friends who I absolutely adore because they are just so positive all the time, and not in a fake way. I feel good when I spend time with them.

Haha this is me!
But I'm DC born and raised. I'm just a super nice and pay it forward type because I cheated death and think I must still be here to try to do some good. The only catch is, if we become good friends and get drinks I might drunk cry my story to you.

Yes. Those people exist and when you are lucky enough to meet a truly nice person appreciate them fully. They don't come around that often.
