4 at the latest. The kids don’t care if it’s cold. It’s worse if it’s delayed. We had that once and gave everyone cupcakes first and then the pizza finally arrived when parents were coming to pick up. The kids were super happy to have cupcakes first though.

Also, no one will care where it is from. Get whatever your kid wants, as long as they deliver and you can pay for it.

We pick up pizza for birthday parties so we are not reliant on a delivery driver.

Either is fine.

Paisano's lets you schedule a delivery. We use it very frequently. Dominoes may do that as well.

I'll eat Paisano's, it is fine. I won't eat Dominos.

Stop stressing about things that don't matter. If your kid doesn't want Domino's then get them what they want. If it's late and the kids eat cake first and pizza second, no big deal. It's just a kids party. Stop worrying about things.

Agreeing with the order the pizzas to be there at the 1 hour mark, feed kids, let them play more, then do cake. Order a bit early, maybe you end up eating at the 45 minute mark but call people over when the pizza arrives and is ready to eat.

Assuming you will do cake after the pizza, I would aim for the pizza to come about 1/2 way through the party. Kids play first ( have some cold drinks), then transition to pizza and cake. Party will start to die down after that.

Also, the hint you didn’t ask for, request that they double cut the pizzas.

+1 Schedule it in advance, ask for 4:15 delivery. That's pretty early for dinner, so I'm guessing the pizza place won't be very busy when they're making your order. Shouldn't be anything to worry about!

Do you want to serve pizza at the start of the party? If so, order at 2:45. If you want to serve it in the second half, order around 3:30/45.

Will you have help at this party? A partner/DH? If so, I'd order it for pickup and have my DH go get it.

Talk to the pizza place days before the party. Ask what time they suggest- they'll probably be slow then so capable of making your timetable., Aim to have the pizza delivered around 4:30.

First world dilemma: My DC will have a party at a local playground this weekend. I have never ordered pizza delivery for a birthday before, so I was wondering for what time I should order pizza. The party goes from 3-5 PM inland I have 2 pizza places about 1 mile away. I am a little anxious about not having the pizzas by the time the party starts, but then will it matter if they are cold? Please let me know if you have done this before. TIA
