You mean, Governor Northam, because it happened under his watch. Can you read?
The intelligence on this site has really plummeted.

Our new Governor said this won’t happen again. So why didn’t this come out in January?

Your intelligence is plummeting. How is the new governor supposed to know about something that happened over 3 months before he took office if ACPS was hiding it? You make zero sense and are trying to hijack this thread. Just stop. A female student was raped. That should be the focus. Have some dignity.
Take your own advice PP.

This is absolutely gut-wrenching. I am so very sorry for the victim. No wonder ACPS Superintendent was just seeking to gag and silence school board members.

Also, going to keep beating this drum…what’s the status of the sexual misconduct allegations against the SROs? Media needs to dive into that as well.

The ACPS rape happened around the same time as the second incident in Loudon, October 2021. It's only just coming out now. Awful. As an ACPS parent I am disgusted with everyone involved in not protecting our students and not informing our parents of violent incidents.
That’s the point PP. they learned nothing from Loudoun’s coverup. They’ve had months to watch what happened there and make this public.

They are protecting the wrong student and themselves.

And I wonder why the school board was instructed a few days ago not to speak to the press. Unreal.

How is it possible that a violent rape occurred and parents weren’t told?

Mean City Council NOT School Board

I am perplexed as to the reasons behind not timely disclosing this tragic crime. It could be incompetence, which while a problem is susceptible to being fixed in an area where people with talent abound. But if it is ideology that is a deeper problem. No ideological narrative should trump health and safety concerns of kids and their parents.
