Juice, but bottled not boxed so each helping is a bit larger. Or flavoured sparkling water.

Why Gatorade but not soda? What’s the distinction in your kind?

Sparkling water with different flavors. Elderflower syrup is great. Add mint or lemon. For a party, set up 'make your own drink' bar.

Mine like regular water, coconut water, Vitamin Water, and for their birthday parties I let them pick a bottle of soda. Root beer is popular.

I would offer a variety of soda. And gatorade and water.

I have 3 boys currently ages 12-17. Yes they are too old for juice boxes but not necessarily too old for juice. When we have a group of boys over we will typically have a mix of water, apple juice, cranberry juice, Gatorade and soda. For the younger crowd I opt for non caffeine soda like root beer, Sunkist and sprite. The bottles of water are usually all consumed. Most of the Gatorade is gone and about half the soda and juice. Very often the soda get thrown away after drinking half a can.

Sprite - as it has no caffeine

Powerade
Gatorade

For a party, I would let them do soda, maybe Sprite or Root Beer if you want to avoid caffeine

My kids love flavored sparkling waters

What do your boys like to drink at parties? They seem too old for juice boxes, but I don’t want to do soda. Gatorade?
